Service Agreement
Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling service with Charjohn Auto Repair, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Charjohn Auto Repair for automotive services.
Service Scope
We provide automotive repair and maintenance services including but not limited to:
- Diagnostic services and troubleshooting
- Brake system repairs and maintenance
- Engine diagnostics and repairs
- Electrical system services
- Transmission and drivetrain repairs
- Air conditioning and heating services
- General maintenance and tune-ups
- Emergency roadside assistance
Customer Responsibilities
Vehicle Information
You agree to provide accurate information about your vehicle including:
- Current condition and symptoms
- Accurate vehicle history when requested
- Previous repair work and modifications
- Any known safety concerns or issues
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept:
- Cash, check, and major credit cards
- Payment plans available for major repairs
- All prices subject to parts availability and labor rates
Our Service Guarantees
Workmanship Warranty
We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first. This warranty covers:
- Labor and parts we supply
- Repair work performed
- Diagnostic services
Parts Warranty
Parts supplied by Charjohn Auto Repair are covered by manufacturer warranties:
- OEM parts: Manufacturer warranty coverage
- Aftermarket parts: Supplier warranty coverage
- Customer-supplied parts: No warranty provided
Liability and Disclaimers
Vehicle Care
While your vehicle is in our care, we exercise reasonable care in its handling. However, we are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing conditions not related to our work
- Normal wear and tear from regular use
- Damage from severe weather or environmental conditions
- Items left in the vehicle (customers should remove personal items)
Service Limitations
Our services are provided "as is" and we cannot guarantee:
- Absolute compatibility with all vehicle systems
- Resolution of underlying issues not covered by our services
- Long-term reliability if maintenance is not followed
- Performance modifications requested by customer
Cancellation and Changes
Service Cancellation
You may cancel scheduled service appointments with 24 hours notice. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to:
- Parts availability delays
- Technician availability issues
- Emergency situations
- Customer no-shows
Service Changes
During service, if additional work is needed beyond the original scope, we will:
- Contact you before proceeding with additional work
- Provide updated estimates for any changes
- Obtain your approval before proceeding
- Explain the necessity and importance of additional services
